Possibilities, Potential or Promise?

How are you viewing life?
Do you see it as having Possibilities, Potential, or Promise?

If your view of life is either of the first two, let me take a moment to give you a different perspective.

Possibilities:  Viewing life from the perspective of possibility is merely looking at life as a likelihood or chance of your success.  Playing odds may at times gain you a victory here or there, but does not sustain you in the long run. For example, it is said that over 70% of all lottery winners squander their winnings in a few years.

Potential:  Viewing life from the perspective of Potential is merely living beneath your capacity.  Potential is merely unused capacity.  It is said that some of the greatest authors, teachers, musicians, architects, etc. are in the cemetery.  They died with Potential.

Promise: Viewing life from the perspective of Promise gives your life not only meaning, but also drive.  A promise is an agreement, pledge, or declaration that something WILL BE DONE.  You were created with a promise.  You were sent here to fulfill a purpose.  The journey of life truly begins when you can embrace that understanding.  Regardless of how you got here, whether planned, through one night of reckless enjoyment, or any other situation. YOU ARE NOT A MISTAKE!  You had to be here at that moment to create change and fulfill a PROMISE.

Live your life knowing you can do something that NO OTHER PERSON ON EARTH is assigned to do.  That not only makes you special, it gives your life PROMISE.

Go out today living out your PROMISE and go to bed EMPTY every night knowing that you’ve maximized your capacity for THE DAY.
Aim High…
